We are looking for dynamic, goal-oriented individuals to join our Financial Close Practice (FC). Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of applicable experience working with leading Corporate/Enterprise Performance Management (CPM/EPM) platforms such as OneStream or Oracle EPM Cloud, a solid knowledge foundation in accounting, and a strong team player.

Our FC Practice is focused on providing leading-practice financial close, consolidation and reporting solutions for our clients driving value from:

  • Financial Close Process (e.g., financial consolidation for legal entity reporting, tax filing, statutory disclosures / narrative reporting, etc.)
  • Pre-Close Process (e.g., master data governance, account reconciliation, etc.)
  • Post-Close Process (e.g., narrative reporting, business intelligence, dashboarding, etc.)

We take a multi-faceted approach in developing solutions – people, process, technology, and data – to streamline and improve upon the following areas:

  • Account Reconciliations (e.g., Blackline, Oracle Account Reconciliations, OneStream Account Reconciliations and Transaction Matching, etc.)
  • Financial and Supplemental Data Collection
  • Data integrations (extract, transform, enhance, validate, load, exceptions resolution)
  • Statutory and Management Reporting (local vs corporate, legal vs tax vs operational view, etc.)
  • Financial Consolidations (foreign currency translations, intercompany eliminations, top side adjustments, multi-GAAP adjustments, attribution, and allocation computations, handling multiple consolidation methods, addressing changes in ownership over time, etc.)
  • Reporting and analysis for Finance and Accounting (MD&A disclosures, statutory reporting, tax compliance, management reporting, as hoc data analysis, continuities, kpi trending, etc.)
  • Narrative Reporting (e.g., Insight CDM, Workiva, etc )
  • System Audit & Control Reviews
  • CPM/EPM solution disaster recovery planning

Our FC consultants are responsible for all stages of solution design and software implementation (e.g., road mapping, requirements gathering, application/process design, development, and delivery) and serves as an escalation point for support and enhancement requests post-implementation.

As an FC consultant, you will work in close collaboration with TGG colleagues as well as client stakeholders from accounting, finance, information technology and project management departments. You also serve as issues escalation support for our Managed Services Operations (MSO) team.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A STRONG APPLICANT

  • 5+ years experience with CPM / EPM software as a user, administrator, implementor or consultant with (e.g., Oracle Cloud EPM, OneStream, Oracle Hyperion, CCH Tagetik, Workiva, Insight CDM (formerly Clarity FSR/Certent CDM, Blackline, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, critical thinking, problem solving, negotiating, customer service and rapport building with clients and colleagues
  • Excels in collaboration while also being self-motivated when working independently
  • Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles, processes, and requirements (e.g., financial close, financial analysis, financial consolidations, narrative reporting & disclosures, etc.)
  • High technical aptitude (quick technology learner, intermediate Excel user, Note Pad ++, working with RDP, VCI, VPN, can understand coding, familiarity with RPA/ML/AI , etc .)
  • Post Secondary Education in Business, Accounting, Finance preferred (e.g., MBA, CPA, etc.)

We are searching for a talented professional in Finance and Business Intelligence. As our Service Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in the next phase of our growth – directing our Managed Services Operations (MSO) Team. Candidates will possess the following:

  • The ability to lead a team of client support associates using positive leadership practices and coaching/mentoring skills
  • The creativity to develop both the conceptual framework and detailed design for complex business intelligence solutions
  • The desire to develop excellent client, partner and industry relations utilizing superior communication skills
  • The drive to ensure the efficient and timely completion of our client’s financial close, FP&A and reporting processes utilizing excellent time management and organizational skills

The successful candidate will have specific experience with the design and administration of C/EPM solutions including but not limited to Oracle Cloud EPM, OneStream, and Oracle Hyperion. You will also possess hands on knowledge of how software and platforms enable process efficiency and governance over consolidated financial reporting and financial planning.

You will lead your team in assisting in business development through project analysis, providing client implementation assistance as required as well as facilitating continued support and end user enablement for clients.

Other responsibilities would include: developing TGG functional and industry best practices, staff recruiting, developing and administering training regimes, and staff performance assessments.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

This is an employment position with the Managed Services Operations (MSO) team for individuals with 2 – 5 years of applicable experience. The MSO team is responsible for support and of our client’s users and stakeholders in the day-to-day activities and projects surround Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software. Sr. Associate Consultants will work directly with TGG colleagues as well as clients from the accounting, finance, information technology and project management departments.

TGG specializes in the design, development, implementation and support of CPM solutions for organizations seeking to drive efficiencies and value in its:

  • Financial Close Process (e.g., financial consolidation for legal entity reporting, tax filing, statutory disclosures / narrative reporting, etc.:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (e.g., budgeting, continuous planning, rolling forecasts, value driver planning, predictive analytics, etc.)
  • Data Governance and Analytic capabilities (e.g., master data governance, data warehousing, business intelligence, dashboarding, prescriptive analytics, etc.)

Sr. Associate Consultants will have the opportunity to further develop their expertise on the functionality and operation aspects of the CPM software, and leverage these skills in a leadership role within the MSO team. Sr. Associate Consultants will be expected to act in an advisory role in their interaction with client’s finance, accounting and IT departments to aid in the administration, utilization and development of the CPM solutions, as well as act as an escalation point for Associate Consultants

In addition to direct client-based support and project responsibilities, Sr. Associate Consultants will assist colleagues with other project development and deployment tasks, as well as internal initiatives including company operations, marketing and IT.
