Associate Consultant – MSO

Managed Service Operations
This is an entry-level employment position with the MSO team for individuals with 0-3 years of applicable experience. The MSO team is responsible for supporting our client’s users and stakeholders in the day-to-day activities and projects surrounding Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software.

Associate Consultants will work directly with TGG colleagues as well as client individuals from accounting, finance, information technology (IT) and project management departments.

The Oracle EPM software suite consists of various products which play key roles in numerous companies’ business processes including:

  • Financial and Management Accounting
  • Financial Consolidation
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Financial and Management Reporting

The new Associate Consultant will have the opportunity to learn the functionality and operation of the Oracle EPM software suite in areas such as:

  • Foundation Services (e.g Workspace, Shared Services, Smart View for Office, Architect, Calculation Manager
  • Financial PM (e.g. Hyperion Financial Management)
  • Data Management (e.g. Financial Data Quality Management)
  • Cloud (e.g. Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud)

In addition to direct client based support and projects responsibilities, Associate Consultants will assist colleagues with other client project development and deployment tasks, and internal items regarding company operations, marketing, and IT.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS
  • Completed post-secondary education program (e.g., university degree, or college diploma)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, critical thinking, problem solving, negotiating, customer service and rapport building with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work as part of a team, while also being self-motivated when working independently
  • Understand, or have ability to learn, IT terminology, processes and requirements (e.g., remote desktops, virtual networks, computer servers & services, user access & security, automations)
  • Understand, or have ability to learn, finance and accounting terminology, processes and requirements (for e.g., financial close, budgeting and forecasting processes; financial statements)
  • General aptitude with business software including using Microsoft Word and Excel; administrating company email inbox, calendar, and ticketing system; time & effort tracking and management
OTHER BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience with Oracle EPM software and/or comparable products
  • Completed post-secondary education program in one of the following areas of study: accounting, computer science, business administration, IT and/or finance
  • Interested or enrolled in additional education (e.g., CPA, CFA, CAPM, PMP, software certifications)
