Associate Tech Consultant – MSO

This is an entry-level employment position with the MSO (Managed Service Operations) team for individuals with 0-3 years of applicable technical experience. The MSO team is responsible for supporting our client’s users and stakeholders in the day-to-day activities and projects surrounding industry leading Corporate Performance Management solutions.

Associate Tech Consultants will work directly with TGG colleagues as well as client individuals from accounting, finance, information technology (IT) and project management departments.

TGG specializes in the design, development, implementation, and support of Corporate Performance Management solutions for organizations seeking to drive efficiencies and value in its:

  • Financial Close Process (e.g., financial consolidation for legal entity reporting, tax filing, statutory disclosures, etc.)
  • Financial Planning & Analysis cycles (e.g., budgeting, continuous planning, rolling forecasts, value driver planning, predictive analytics, etc.)
  • Data Governance and Analytics capabilities (e.g., master data governance, data
    warehousing, business intelligence, dashboarding, prescriptive analytics, etc.)

The new Associate Tech Consultant will have the opportunity to learn the functionality and technical aspects of various best-in-class Enterprise Performance Management software platforms (e.g., Oracle Hyperion EPM Suite, Oracle EPM Cloud, OneStream XF, SAP BPC, etc.).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS
  • Completed post-secondary education program (e.g., university degree, or college diploma)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, critical thinking, problem solving, negotiating, customer service and rapport building with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work as part of a team, while also being self-motivated when working independently
  • Understand, or have ability to learn, IT terminology, processes and requirements (e.g., remote desktops, virtual networks, computer servers & services, user access & security, automations)
  • Understand, or have ability to learn, finance and accounting terminology, processes and requirements (for e.g., financial close, budgeting and forecasting processes; financial statements)
  • General aptitude with business software including using Microsoft Word and Excel; administrating company email inbox, calendar, and ticketing system; time & effort tracking and management
OTHER BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE
  • Formal education in Object-oriented programming and/or application frameworks (e.g. Java/J2EE, C++, XML/XHTML, Visual Basic, R, Python, Ruby, etc.)
  • Completed post-secondary education program in one of the following areas of study: computer science / information technology / engineering, programming, data warehousing, data integration
  • Prior experience with leading EPM software suites a plus
  • Finance and Accounting literacy a plus
  • Interested or enrolled in additional education (e.g., Oracle Java certifications, software certifications)
