This is a patch set update (PSU). This patch is a full installation.
New Features in this Release:
There is one new feature where the number of calculations is configurable. Two parameters were added to control the maximum number of concurrent calculations allowed per application server. This new feature can help alleviate strain on the system when calculations are run.
MaxNumConcurrentCalcuations – Maximum number of concurrent calculations allowed per server per application.
ConcurrentCalculationWaitTimeInSecond – If the maximum number of concurrent calculations are running and a user launches a new calculation, the system will wait until the timeout and log a message in the system log about the timeout with the POV details. If the maximum number of concurrent calculations are running and the wait time is set to -1, and a user launches a new calculation, the system will wait infinitely until one of the calculations finishes.
Defects Fixed
There are 77 defects fixed. The fixed defects will allow for better usability of the HFM system as well as avoid potential confusion when errors occur. The notable fixed defects are listed below.
- 30878222 – Add POV description to the task audit for journal post and unpost
- 30822083 – Firefox: tabs missing an X which allows a user to close
- 30579442 – While refreshing Smart View ad hoc sheet, getting invalid item ID error
- 30401933 – Journal report does not show the date posted that is the same as manage journals
- 30244953 – Security class of data grid changes to [DEFAULT] when opened from tasklist
- 29954992 – Copy data is not working for one specific entity when selecting base member list
- 29933551 – Error when loading cell text with multiple lines
- 28050826 – Unable to select a non-ICP parent member for ICP dimension in WDEF
- 27567030 – Extracted datafile cannot be loaded again in cell text entered in multiple lines
- 27558596 – Source transaction displaying incorrect value for POV
- 24373853 – In HFM V11.1.2.4.X, TEMPDB size is continually growing
- 12970508 – “Display only active entities” option on user POV affects the report output
