Premier Support End Date is Approaching for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System Release 11.1.2

Please be advised that Premier Support for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System 11.1.2 ends December 2021, after which Sustaining Support will be available.  Please see the Lifetime Support Policy: Oracle Applications for information on Support services and timeframes for currently supported products.

With Sustaining Support, you receive technical support, including access to our online support tools, knowledgebase, and technical support experts. You benefit from:

  • Major product and technology releases
  • Technical support
  • Access to My Oracle Support
  • Fixes, updates, and critical patch updates created during the Premier Support stage
  • Upgrade scripts created during the Premier Support stage

Sustaining Support does not include:

  • New updates, fixes, security alerts, data fixes, and critical patch updates
  • New tax, legal, and regulatory updates
  • New upgrade scripts
  • Certification with new third-party products/versions
  • Certification with new Oracle products

In short, beginning January 2022, Oracle Support can no longer file product defect reports (bugs) for this product version, nor can Oracle Support provide patches for existing bugs unless the patches already exist.   This also means that if a particular bug fix is not available for your platform, a patch cannot be requested.  For more specifics on Premier Support, Extended Support, and Sustaining Support, please refer to the Oracle Software Technical Support Policies.

Oracle recommends customers prepare a migration plan to Oracle EPM Cloud or an upgrade to Enterprise Performance Management System release 11.2.

Please Note:

  • Restricted use Essbase Plus licenses included with Hyperion Financial Close Suite, Hyperion Planning Plus and Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management will follow the Error Correction policy for the related EPM licensed product.

  • Please refer to your Support Contract to determine your specific entitlement. Some exceptions may apply to your account.  Please do not ask Oracle Support for information about your account or entitlements as that information is not available to them.  For questions about your account and/or Support contract, please contact your Account Manager or Sales Representative.
